Yes! OwnLift is designed to work 100% offline. All your workout data is stored locally on your device. You can track workouts at the gym, outdoors, or anywhere without needing WiFi or cellular data.
Your data never leaves your device. We don't have servers that store your information, we don't require accounts, and we don't collect any analytics or tracking data. Your workout history is encrypted and stored only on your iPhone.
Currently, OwnLift stores all data locally on your device. This is by design to protect your privacy. We're exploring privacy-preserving sync options for the future that would keep your data encrypted end-to-end.
OwnLift supports exporting your workout data in standard formats. You can create backups whenever you want and store them however you prefer — it's your data, you control it.
Yes, OwnLift is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. We believe fitness tracking should be accessible to everyone without compromising privacy or wallet.
Currently, OwnLift is only available for iOS. We're focused on making the iOS experience excellent first, but we're considering Android for the future based on user demand.
OwnLift supports any exercise you can imagine. You can create custom exercises, track sets, reps, weight, and duration. Whether you're doing barbell squats, yoga, or cardio, OwnLift adapts to your training style.

OwnLift ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the OwnLift mobile application ("App").
OwnLift is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers. All data you enter into the App — including workout sessions, exercises, personal records, body measurements, progress photos, and custom workout plans — is stored locally on your device only.
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or telemetry services. We do not collect usage statistics, device information, location data, or personal identifiers.
The App does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, advertising networks, or social media platforms.
Your data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device. When you enable encryption, your data is protected with industry-standard SQLCipher encryption.
When you create backups, they are stored in your personal cloud storage (iCloud). We do not have access to your backup files. Encrypted backups require your passphrase to restore.
You can export all your data at any time in standard formats (SQLite, CSV, YAML). You own your data completely.

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and OwnLift ("we", "us", or "our") for use of the OwnLift mobile application ("App").
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not: copy, modify, or distribute the App; reverse engineer or decompile the App; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or sublicense or transfer your rights to use the App.
The App and all related intellectual property rights remain our property. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.

OwnLift is a fitness tracking application designed to help you log workouts and track progress. The App does NOT provide medical advice, fitness coaching or personal training, nutritional guidance, or injury prevention or rehabilitation advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or certified fitness professional before starting any exercise program.
By using this App, you acknowledge that exercise and weightlifting carry inherent risks of injury. You are voluntarily participating in physical activities and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may result from your workouts. The App does not automatically adjust or recommend weights — all decisions are yours.
You are solely responsible for: ensuring exercises are appropriate for your fitness level; using proper form and technique during workouts; stopping exercise if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort; maintaining regular health checkups with qualified professionals; and backing up your data regularly.
